People, service, ambiance, and cocktails were all top notch, but the kitchen let down all those efforts. Our bill was $ 135, but the food was only equal to Applebee’s. I’ve eaten at the J Alexander’s in Englewood CO a few times, and it has been consistently good. This Leawood location needs to upgrade their kitchen staff because there’s just no excuse to fail that badly.
A Big Thank You!. What an amazing night we had last night, first off I want to send the biggest most sincere thank you to Jessica and her manager for their unbelievable service and compassion. A friend was in town from Colorado and we took my mom who is dying of colon cancer out to a very special dinner. We do not get her out very often so when we do we make the very best. We got there and had a 30 min wait, Jessica came to take our drink order and it was if she knew that it was such a special night, she catered to my mom and gave the royal treatment to her. This meant the world to us so I made sure to give her a special thanks later in the evening and after that the treatment and generosity that was given was beyond expected and belief. The food was excellent as always but I could not let this amazing service and kindness go unspoken for, it’s hard to find these days and Jessica deserves the highest recognition for her outstanding service and compassion! Thank you Jessica and your manager as well!! We will never forget it!

Bad food and service. Have eaten there several times. But don’t dine on Sunday. They are in a hurry, and looked like served food which was left over. My stake was over done, my daughter was underdone. Just felt a hurried job.
