One of my fav bbq restaurants (this & Q39). The brisket sandwich is amazing. If your really hungry, get the 3 item plate, you’ll have leftovers but you get to try a little of everything.

Jacks stack is my go to BBQ for the Kansas City area. I have tried all of the supposed best in the area and always find myself wishing I had just gone to Jacks. All of the meats are perfectly smoked, tender, and juicy and the sides are top shelf . The burnt ends are incredible and the bone in rib eye is one of the best in the country. The sides are all great but the cheesy corn bake and the potato salad almost always find their way to my order. The dining area is extremely nice with white tablecloths and a full service bar.

BBQ at its best. I am not a fan of BBQ outside of my home. It tends to me overly smoked or worse still, overly liquid smoked. This is not the case here at Fiorello’s. The meats were wonderfully flavored and not offensive in the smoke taste. One can taste the meat. My husband and I were on a business trip this one day and decided to check out some BBQ. I ordered based on the descriptions on the menu and a picture I has seen on the internet of the food. I was not disappointed. My meal, the BBQ Beef ribs and Pork Charred BBQ tips came with a huge baked potato. The meat fell off the bones and was so incredibly tender that I think my mouth watered. It had a great smoke flavor and was accompanied with 2 BBQ sauces on the side for dipping. My husband ordered the BBQ brisket and pork with cole slaw and beans. We had an order of the famous cheesy corn casserole and an order of fried mushrooms which started our meal. The mushrooms were huge and very well done. They were fried but not mush and still had their firm flesh in tact. They came with a horseradish sauce which perfectly suited the appetizer. To be told, they would have made a perfect meal in and of themselves. The brisket and pork as well as the beef ribs were all tender and full of flavor. The sides were generous and did not overpower the taste of the meats, but married perfectly with them. The baked beans had such an amazing homemade taste and the cole slaw was just right. The jewel of the sides was the cheesy corn casserole. It was creamy, rich and left me wanting more. I asked our server how it was made, and she went and came back with the full recipe for me to take. Now that is service and an awesome experience; a restaurant that doesn’t fear giving you their secret. All in all I cannot say I have had many great experiences in BBQ eating at restaurants, but this was definitely one in a very short list. You have got to try this place. Come early or call ahead because they get super busy and it was busy at lunch on a Monday. So be prepared, knowing it is worth the wait. Enjoy!

I really enjoyed my meal. I had the pick 3 combo with spare ribs, lamb ribs and burnt ends. For my sides I had beans and cheesy corn. Everything I had was very good. The beans surprised me and were really tasty. My favorite was the burnt ends they were excellent. The service was also awsome. You know you are going to get good service when the waiter says we take our food very very serious and we want to make sure you are happy. If anything doesn’t meet your expectations for any reason let me know and we will make it right.

There is so much to choose from in the Kansas City BBQ market. While jack stack’s meats and entrees are fine, they are not inspiring. No complaints, they just don’t stand out. Their sauce is decent, but not remarkable.Their sides though.Damn.The cheesy potato bake is great, and so is the cheesy corn bake. What’s even better is pouring the cheesy corn bake over the cheesy potato bake. Your welcome! The beans. These are hands down the best beans I have ever had. In Kansas City, or anywhere else for that matter. Not close. When I go here, I eat the beans as an entree. When people come to town and we grill out at our house, we make a special trip out to buy these beans to have along with whatever we make.

I can’t get over the lamb ribs, they truly are a delicious and meaty treat! You really can’t go wrong at Jack Stack. From the steaks to the BBQ chicken, but I highly recommend the ribs!
