I have been ordering from Jade Bowl for as long as I can remember. They are my go to delivery Chinese. They are very reasonably prices – affordable at every budget that I have had over the years. When we have company we can feed 8 people for just over $40.00. There are not too many places that you can do that. The delivery is very fast and reliable. They have never delivered the wrong thing to me nor have they ever screamed at me? There was a period of time about a year and a half ago when the food was not as good as usually, but that has seemed to remedy itself. No complaints now! I have only eaten at the restaurant one time, I prefer delivery. I probably would not choose to order by a number? But that is my personal preference. I like for them to know exactly what I want as far as food, not numbers. The Generals is good. Love the sesame chicken. Their lemon chicken is also very good.

Unfortunately this review has more to do with the service than the actual food. If you are eating there, just disregard. But if calling for delivery, be VERY careful that they got your order correct. Despite having numbers on their menu to help bridge the language barrier, they don’t let you order by number. And when the order is taken and delivered incorrectly, do not call and try to remedy. That is usually met with them screaming at you in Chinese and blaming you for their apparent misunderstanding. And I thought the customer service at the Post Office was bad!! The food isn’t bad, it’s just better when you get what you actually ordered.
Old Faithful. Jade Bowl is our weeknight-don’t feel like cooking-Chinese take-out place. It’s family owned and the service is always prompt. The food is always fresh, plentiful and nicely prepared.
My default Chinese delivery choice. I suppose most everyone eventually finds their favorite Chinese restaurant that delivers and they remain loyal as long as they can. I found a menu stuck to my front door one day and filed it with the other menus I had collected over time. The next time I ordered Chinese was from Jade Bowl because I wanted to give them a chance, and the other Chinese restaurants in my area had left something to be desired. I ordered my usual; sesame chicken and an order of crab rangoon. I was not disappointed. Eventually, I branched out and came across their house pan fried noodles and now that has become my standard order.
Great Food. Jade Bowl has been a staple in my delivery drawer for a long time now, and it deserves more publicity. They have about average prices, but way above average quality. I have tried most of the dishes on the menu, and I have never been truly disappointed. Best of all, their delivery service is top notch, if they say it will be there in 45 min (even on a busy friday night) it WILL be there, hot, fresh and delicious. I speak so highly of the delivery because the restaurant itself is not much in the way of fancy. Its a few tables set up with not much thought of ambiance or decor, but like Ive said, what it lacks in style it more than makes up for with flavor. Next time you are hankering for chinese food, call up Jade Bowl and order your favorite dish from your regular place, and you may just end up rearranging your delivery drawer.
