Best Mexican in KC. My family has been coming here since I was a toddler 20 years ago. We have tried Ponacs, El Patron, Margaritas… none of them hold a candle to Jalapeos. It is a great restaurant with friendly service and great drinks. Try the grilled pork fajitas, you will not be disappointed. There is a reason why my wife and I come once a week. Ask to sit with Mitch, you wont get any better service than that.
J’s is a good, neighborhood Mexican restaurant; probably the best in south Johnson County unless you want something flashier. Then, I would go to SI or JP’s.
Typical Mexican American place. Tastes good but nothing special.
Love this place. Good lunch menu and great food. not much else to say as its consistent and great every time. i’d high recommend anything from the fajitas to the taco salad.
