Amazing service!. I just went there, with my fiance, for breakfast today. Even on a busy Sunday our server was on point! She kept our glasses full and made sure that we were fully satisfied with our food. I enjoy restaurants like this that provide fast service and high quality food but then aren’t in a rush to get you out of the door. Our server, Anna, continued to bring us refills after we had finished eating and were talking about our plans for the day. There was no pressure to get out and all of the hostesses are so sweet and helpful too! Love this place!
Excellent Brunch. My husband and I are staying in the Sheraton near Le Peep’s. I looked to this website for a great place to go for brunch. Le Peeps won out, although there were some nasty reviews, it also had a lot of good reviews, especially about the food. We really enjoyed our breakfast and our waitress was amazing! If we lived here we would definitely go back again.
My son and I found this restaurant on US and it was great. The gentlemen who greeted us, seemed like owner or manager, was very friendly and attentive. We ate at the counter to avoid the wait and the breakfast was excellent. Yea they seemed a little busy but that is for good reason. My son had the Lumberjack and everything was perfect he said. I would recommend but there could be a wait, if so consider the counter or just wait because its worth it!
Wonderful breakfast place. My husband and I came here for a breakfast date, and it was amazing! We had to wait about 10-15 minutes (it was a late Saturday morning), and it was king of nice being in such a bustling, busy, cozy atmosphere. The food was amazing, and I was really impressed by their menu — they have everything from sweet and decadent, to healthy, to hearty meats, and it’s all mouth-watering!
Not again.. I am quite disappointed. It took 10 minutes to get coffee. 20 minutes after we ordered we received our cold breakfasts. I would have complained but our server made only the briefest of appearances to drop off the check. I cannot imagine how long it would have taken to get a new meal. Judging by the congealed grease on the top of the eggs I’m guessing they sat in the window for 15 minutes before being delivered. The potatoes were miserable, cold, soggy, flavorless lumps. We were there at a moderately (but not crazy) busy time, there were only two of us, and we did not have any special orders. It doesn’t matter how good a restaurant’s food and coffee are, if the servers are not at least minimally trained to deliver food and drinks hot then I will not return. It appears that this restaurant caters more towards people who have all day to sit around and stare at each other while they wait. It’s back to First Watch for me.
Used a Groupon for breakfast this morning, and left Le Peep thinking I paid too much for the low quality and average food we received. If you want good breakfast in KC, check out Succotash or Eggtc.
