Had lunch here today.Very clean restaurant, friendly staff. Affordable prices. I had the basil thai fried rice (with chicken) as suggested by others-excellent choice! You also get a small bowl of the soup of the day. Today was hot and sour with crispy wonton strips (I had extra strips).I would HIGHLY recommend eating here for a least lunch. Planning another trip soon.
We had everything from appetizer to dessert and loved it all!! It was so fresh and so tasty. We have tried Asian cuisine in the area and this is by far our favorite!! We recommend the spring rolls, basil Thai fried rice, and green tea icecream! The sweet waitress ran across two parking lots to bring us the card we dropped. We will be back!!
For better or for worse, there is new management and they are trying to to be more authentic with their meals. Very clean dining in. Also great carry out. Duck, frog, chicken. Always ask about the specials! I usually get the yellow curry. Delicious with the carrots and potatoes.
Good food and good service. Stopped in on a Sunday evening for dinner, they were not very busy so our server was able to give us full attention. Good selection on menu. Crab rangoon appetizer was freshly made and delicious. Panang curry and phad kee mow were very good. We ordered medium heat and it was not overly hot, less than medium heat from Thai Palace. Overall a good experience, we will go back.
Hire more servers!. The night started with the host saying 3 times in 5 minutes just one minute. This was because he was also the server. The assistant server sat the 4 of us with 2 menus. After 5 minutes I had to say can we get some water? The spring roll appetizer was nice, but came with no silverware, so I had to get up from the table and get it myself. The joke of a 12.99 soup came next for me and the sever/host had to auction off all the other entrees since he forgot who ordered what. At the time of delivery of the entrees one of guest never got his 2nd beer, but of course it was on the bill that took forever to get. The food was ok, nothing to brag about.
Great food! The restaurant has a neat vibe with a really cool bar area upfront. There is a nice variety for the menu, entree soups, lots of different pad thai’s and great suggestions by the servers/owners. Super friendly people that make you feel welcome and want to come back! Can’t wait to try more from here!
Thai Superior!. They have a nice variety to choose from on the menu, and some specialties that the server described. We chose pork Laab, chicken Pad See Ew and Lemongrass House Pork. All were delicious, and the servings were plentiful. We could have taken some home, but the tastes were so amazing that we ate every bite. We can’t wait to return! Thank goodness we live in metro KC not Florida Keys!
