Servers stayed huddled in the corner of the bar talking, not much atmosphere anymore. I think the bar rescue guy needs to be called, I will be going elsewhere from now on
This was our second visit. Service was not as good this time. I had the chicken salad croissant. Bread and salad a little too dry for my taste. Buffalo chicken wrap and potato waffle fries were very good. One in the party had the Reuben. Which he said was good. Overall service not as good as last trip but it is a nice local neighborhood place.19 Oct, 2012Service was very good on our visit. I ordered the cabbage rolls and salad which for the price was a good meal. My husband ordered fish and chips. Thought they were a little greasy. Overall quaint local atmosphere and we would come again.
One would be hard pressed to find a more authentic menu in the middle of Kansas City.Good food, good service, DEFINATELY a keeper!
Great food and good service. I’ve been a few times for lunch now and had the reuben and a burger. both were on special for lunch and both were very good. i’d definitely recommend this place for lunch goers in the Stanley/OP area. i’m sure it’s fun at night too as they clearly have a lot of live bands play there.

Great Food, Not-so-great service. I love the Pub burgers at this restaurant, they are cooked to perfection each time. The pub chips and fries are also fantastic; however, I have not had a good experience with the service. It is usually very slow and often the orders get mixed up or special requests forgotten. I’ve found the best way to get Llywelyn’s is To Go.
7/1/11 the worst waitress service I’ve ever experiences, had to go to the bar to get every drink. Now, the bartender was excellent, but both patio waitresses should be fired. I’ll take my business elsewhere.
