My ribeye was tough and gristle – a ribeye! My son’s filet was pedestrian. Mom and daughter had more typical bar food and thought it was ok. No reason to go back, though. Oh, and the place was way too noisy.
Excellent service…food was even better (if that is even possible)! Highly recommend the ribs! I’m in the area on business but will definately return!
Wonderful food and wonderful service. The many times we have gone here we have never had a bad server who hasn’t gone the extra mile to make our experience the best it could be. The steak Oscar and bread pudding are fantastic, but my family hasn’t had anything bad here!
Consistently good food. We are regulars at Nick and Jakes. I am suprised since we eat there once a week that they don’t know us but that is another conversation. We love the food, it is consistenly good and service is usually great. I am a salad eater and their salad are just okay, nothing unique or exceptional.
Excellent Experience – I’ll Be Back. We’ve been here twice – for dinner & Sunday brunch. I was extremely happy with the attentive service, & the food is quite good. Nice feel to the place – good lighting, great music selection & volume (Sinatra-style), and relaxing decor. I don’t usually like buffets, but was pleasantly surprised by the good quality of choices Sunday morning – the prime rib, corned beef & eggs, & bread pudding were wonderful. It’s a tad pricey, so I’ll reserve this for special occasions. The only complaint I can think of is it was a bit noisy sitting in the upper booths during dinner, which made conversation a bit difficult. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place, and I look forward to going back!
