There’s a reason it was empty when we walked in.. Waited 1 hour and 20 minutes for a burger and kids chicken fingers and corn dogs. Finally received the burger and it was wrong. Manager was a snot nosed brat who made excuses but never apologized and threw a temper tantrum at the end. Food was disgusting. I’ve had better hamburgers frozen from the grocery store.
Okay. A bit high on prices for a bar.
Ordered a beer, got it. Kept asking waiter to order food. Sat here for an hour waiting to place order. I am finally giving up. Checking out with my beer purchase and going home hungry. Worst service I have ever had.
Don’t waste your money. Bought the groupon so went to check this place out. What a disappointment!First we both ordered ice waters and the waiter came back to let us know that the bar was out of lemons and they were too busy to cut some up. Next I ordered a draft beer when we were ordering dinner and the waiter came back and said it might be awhile before the bartenders could poor my beer. Are you kidding me? While we were waiting on dinner I went to the bathroom. It smelled like an outhouse in the men’s room and both soap dispensers were out of soap. When the meal came out both dinners were not cooked properly. My Buffalo Chicken Sandwich was ok but the fries were cold. My girlfriend got the fish and chips and the fish was undercooked. Like other reviews have said this place needs to obviously hire better cooks. Just ridiculous considering their prices. We had $3 left on the groupon value so we ordered the warm brownie sundae. You guessed it… Came out and the brownie was cold. Will not be back, and I’ll be surprised if this place makes it much longer. Beer wasn’t even that cold and the staff were clueless and lazy from what I witnessed.
If my post makes it before this place shuts down I’ll be surprised. Food, service both mediocre at best and most burgers/sandwiches are $10 WITHOUT a side. Another Groupon let down.
Average at best. We went to Overtime Sports Bar N Grill with a Goupon coupon to try out the new restaurant in the area. The interior is a typical sport bar theme on the average side. Nothing spectacular when it comes to the decor or a feel of a good downhome hangout to watch the games. They have plenty of TV’s to watch various games on. I would think if you’re not going to have a focus on a certain game to at least put on the closed caption so you can kind of keep up with what’s going on in the game. The food was average at best. The menu displays a saying that I don’t agree on that says the food is made homemade in their kitchen. The nachos came out cold and with a huge amount of chips with little condiments on it and lumpy nacho cheese very sparingly on a few chips. The breakfast burger is a mix of beef and country sausage and came out pink in the middle and just warm. If you’re going to add pork to a burger it has to be cooked all the way through. That will get someone sick and a restaurant in a lot of hot water.I can’t say any of the food was hot. The chicken wings were overcooked, but the sauce had good flavor. The worst part of it was we were the only patrons in the restaurant since it was 1:30 in the afternoon so there is no excuse for cold or undercooked food.I see a great potential for this restaurant, but the problem is the use of under quality food product and a kitchen staff/cook that needs to learn how to cook. I can’t see how you can charge the price they do without quality product and a kitchen staff that can cook it.I will give it one more chance in a month or so. As a firehouse chef I would never serve my crew this quality of food ever.
First experience was lackluster, but gave them another chance because they do have nice sports bar setup. Second chance was even more disappointing. My salad was missing 3 Ingredients out of 6. Other entree had to be sent back. Only good thing so far is lots of TVs, currently tuned to bad local tv…
