Amazing food. Good service. I’m from California and love going to this place when I visit. The Cantina pizza is to die for and I love how their nachos are made with flour tortillas. I highly recommend it!
I went here with a client and ordered the lettuce wraps. According to the menu it was chicken, carrots, peanuts, and red onion. I asked for no wanton strips. When it arrived it was 90% rice. No where did it say rice was in the wrap. It’s a cool atmosphere and the service was good. Was terribly disappointed with my meal.
The beer is okay. The food seems to use quality ingredients but is still just okay. The service is okay but in serious need of some front of house management
Very good!. Food was wonderful. hamburger was juicy. would return!
Great food and great service!. We stopped here 7/8/14 on our way through town. We all had a beer and a pizza. I had their wheat beer which was excellent, and the chicken cantina or something like that pizza. It was fabulous! Fresh chicken, corn & black bean salsa, cilantro and lime, plus lovely thin but slightly chewy crust that was perfectly cooked. Slightly crispy on the bottom too. All four of us had pizzas, one had the veggie pizza and raved about how good it was. Another had the sausage and jalapeno bacon pizza and said it was awesome, and the other had a pepperoni and liked it too.Next time we’re in Salina, we’ll probably stop here again. Very good food, nice atmosphere, and our waitress was very nice and very prompt!
I wish I could write a good review but I cant. The last two time we have come here to eat has been at lunch and the service is Awful! We waited a good ten minutes before someone came to ask us what we would like to drink and to top it off a waitress kept looking at us and kept standing there talking and checking her phone didn’t even have the decency to see if we had been helped. When our server finally came he was all apologetic and put in our order we received our meal in decent time but he did not come back to check on us until we were mostly done with our meal. Our one year old son was fussy so I got up and took him outside while my husband waited for the check which took about fifteen more minutes and our waiter stood there and stared at the tv, he finally came over to ask my husband if he was doing okay when we were obviously done and very ready for our check. On top of it all we were sitting at the table facing the wood fire oven and the guys making the pizzas kept putting their gloveless hands into what looked like the cheese and quickly putting it in their mouth so no one would see them but I was watching and they did it at least ten times! Gross! The same exact thing happened the time before with our waitress, she was horrible and terribly rude.
This delicious brew house is an oasis in Salina. If you are passing through on I-70 it is certainly worth the 5 min drive.
