Snickers Fan. I was so excited to have a famous Bogey’s shake. But sorry Bogey’s, I was really disappointed. When I order a Snickers shake, I expect Snickers in it. Wouldn’t you? It had some sort of shaved chocolate, caramel, not sure if it even had peanuts, but I’ll say yes just in case, and it had hot fudge at the bottom. The flavor was not only not Snickers, but it was bland and tasted more like vanilla. On the flip side, the texture was awesome.
Great Burgers. We ate at Bogey’s on a Saturday late in the afternoon and we were lucky to get a table. We all (five of us) ordered burgers and everyone was satisfied. Three of us shared the sour cream and chive fries, which ended up being more than we could eat. My mom got the best deal-which was under Value Meals. She got the Square Deal for 5 bucks which included a burger, fries, drink, and an ice cream sundae. Order the sour cream and chive on the side, if you want to try it. Overall- good food, fun atmosphere. Most of the people working were friendly and helpful but the gal that took our order seemed to be annoyed by us asking questions. She answered with one word to any question. We had a good chuckle about it and the other members of the staff made up for her curtness. You’ll get a decent meal for a good price at Bogey’s.
Great Food!. After eating & enjoying Bogey’s in Hutchinson, I was pleased to also like the Salina location. This location is small, but has an old fashioned (think 1920-1930s) feel to it. I enjoyed the vintage movie posters on the walls, and there was a nice patio which had umbrella-ed tables surrounded by mature trees for people to enjoy their food outside. Of course, don’t go to Bogey’s and forget to get a shake or malt! My family has ordered many different kinds of shakes & malts, and they never disappoint. Love the grilled onions on the burgers and I must recommend the curly fries with sour cream & chive dip! Sounds odd, but it’s better than ketchup, and I’m a huge ketchup lover! Our food was served promptly, and the place was busy, but clean. Recommend.
Best Burger this side of Dallas. Well, let me tell you we found a burger place to end all burger places … a double burger with grilled onions, a *small* order of curly fries and a 12 ounce beverage …. are ya ready ??? can you feel the anticipation just rolling and rolling … $3.99 – I’ll wait and let you burger aficionados catch your breath… Ya and to make matters better the meat is fresh ground daily and it is served piping hot and the gooey cheese just runs all over your fingers. Wow! I may stay an extra day because tomorrow the special of the day is BOGO Corn Dogs … Does it get better than that? Add this to the fact that I ditched 8 bucks on a ‘beef taco salad’ in a nameless place on Ardmore … This tops the day off, and I mentioned that if they’d add a Olive Burger with some Monterrey Jack cheese …. We would be sure to add BOGEYS to the 2013 version of vacation USA for us!*** Small there is medium to large by the Dallas areas measuring points
Better than Cozy’s. I know Cozy Inn gets more attention for it’s burgers, but Bogey’s are so much better. Plus, you can get just about any kind of milkshake you want. I would avoid most other menu items as I’m pretty sure they are just defrosted, but stick the the burger and shake basics and you will be very happy.
Burgers and Fries. Great burgers, and good fries to. have had their pork and cfs sandwich and those are good too! Limeades are great too. On par with wichita, ks burger joints.
Cheeseburger. Best EVER03 Jul, 2011Cheeseburger. I have ate at bogeys many times and enjoyed it every time. i plan to eat there again. the cheese burgers are the BEST
