Service was good. Steak was properly prepared. Beer was cold. The only suggestion is to sautee the onions a little longer. Both in the fried rice and mixed veggies, the onion was still raw. It’s a small thing and would not prevent my return the next time I’m in town.
New location of Daimaru thumbs up.. The old location of the restaurant is closed. The new location is in 9th St Salina Kansas. I love the new modernize feeling of the restaurant. Food is great. The hibachi is spectacular. The owner of Daimaru is friendly and kind. I can come back here many times. They are many choices of sushi that you can try.

Food was great tho our sashimi order came out after the main course we had gyoza,crab Rangoon they brought our drinks,beer an water properly then the appetizers then the soup then the salads then they brought out the fried Rice & steam rice an we probably waited 10 minutes before the main course an I must say we all had a teriyaki style meat or meat combo course which everything was very very good the part that pissed me off is we sat right next to the sushi station an they was sitting around then they served several other people then finally after were almost done with our meal they bring the sashimi order it was big order 2 orders yellowtail,2 orders smoked salmon,2 orders salmon roe,2 orders smelt roe,and a California roll an that is why iam changing my vote 2 dislike as of now our meal was great tho iam worried about management our waitress was good she did a great job it wasn’t her fault I clear view of the kitchen door an Sushi station so I could see what was what I plan on calling the manager tomorrow an letting them know
Sat at the bar. Employees (and a manager) just went behind the bar and helped themselves to the alcohol right in front of us. Totally unprofessional.
Food is great for Salina! Love the sushi as well. Nice place to go.
