Another great outing!. I’d read such great reviews about Daimaru and never tried it. Upon return from picking my son up from the airport in KC at Thanksgiving- we decided to try and throughly enjoyed it even though we were confused on what to order at the Hibachi grill. This Monday- my daughter flew in to KC for Christmas so we used this excuse to go again. Again the food was very good and we tried and enjoyed the Las Vegas sushi roll! It was so pleasing to see our cook interact with our daughter and other members at the table and see their smiles! It was also nice to have both managers stop at different times and greet us and ask how our meal was! Don’t worry- we’ll be back!
Dress code. Food is fantastic, sushi is very fresh. They have recently remodeled part of the dining (much better by the way). I sat in dining room tonight, and our waitress waiting tables in plain clothes. At first my husband and I weren’t sure she was really a waitress. Now she was pregnant and that could have been part of it, but surely she could still find a uniform? Would still highly recommend and we will be back.
