Solid burgers in a laid back pub atmosphere. Plenty of beer choices, as well as cocktails, so what’s not to like? Meat comes from market next door, so double win.
I never turn down a chance to go to the Anchor. I’ve never been disappointed in the multiple times over the years I’ve been there. Great tacos, fish and chips, fried jalapenos, beer selection, hamburgers and atmosphere.
The food was good not exactly what I expected when I ordered the mac and cheese. The service was a little slow. It’s a cool atmosphere though, I recommend checking it out!
Great place! They have a large selection of beers; try their sour beers, they are a bit more pricey but it’s worth it. Their burgers are really good, their portions are a bit large when including fries and stuff on the side. The staff is really nice and friendly. Great place to hangout at night with friends.
Great pub-style restaurant. Started with the onion rings and order the Haystack as the meal. Haystack is s open faced burger topped with fries and smothered in Queso. I liked it so much that I put it on my menu at my restaurant. Happening place here and great energy of the open seating with talk and laughter in the background.
I’ve had good experiences and bad experiences at the Anchor all revolving around the service. Sometimes it’s goodand other times it is horribly slow. It’s to the point I won’t go there for lunch because of it which is unfortunate because the food there is pretty good. wichitabyeb.com
