Fruit tart and Croissant.. I ordered the fruit tart and the croissant. Both were perfectly divine; the fruit tart had fresh fruits – and blackberries, my absolute favorite, and the custard was done just right. The croissant was my definite favorite. It was light and buttery – and not at all a greasy mess. The texture was like a soft cloud when I bit into it. Overall, the establishment was very nice and I would also recommend the tiramisu.
I ordered the Napoleon. The puff pastry was light and flaky, and the strawberries were fresh. The dusting of powdered sugar on top made a pretty contrast with the red strawberries. Nothing about it was overly sweet, nor was it too heavy. Le mille-feuille napoleon est trs merveillieux, et le service est super.
Ignored. The only negative I can say about this place is that I was ignored for a good few minutes. Normally I would expect to be greeted when I walk in. There were no customers ahead of me and yet I was not approached. It’s a small complaint. The food is very good for a decent price. The seating area is comfortable and charming. Overall a nice lunch spot.08 Jan, 2015Spinach Quiche. Very good. Decently priced
Wichita’s Soup Nazi. The food is reasonably priced and generally very tasty. The desserts are always good. Free breads when you eat there, love it. My only complaint, and for me this is a big one, is that the owner or manager lady is very rude to her employees and at times customers. She could be the nicest person in the world behind the scenes, but when you verbally abuse, belittle and berate the other workers, literally every time I have been there, it makes me want to stop going. That lady is just plain mean, and it makes me not want to go. The sad thing is that many other customers might not care at all, but that is not how I was raised to treat others.
Witchy Woman. I stopped in to pick up rolls and dessert for a dinner party. The owner(?), a gray haired lady, was rude and just plain unpleasant to be around. I won’t be a repeat customer…there is so much quality competition out there that there’s no reason to patronize a business that doesn’t give good customer service.
I learned I like quiche. I had never eaten quiche before, but I found out that I like it a lot. They have a green salad that is so fresh. They provide an assortment of fresh baked breads to enjoy with you meal. The I tiro is simply yet charming. It is like taking a short trip to Europe. The prices are reasonable.
Yummy….just yummy! A great place for a girls lunch or to pick up fresh baked goods. Love it !
