One of my favorite lunch spots! The Who’s Who of Wichita are usually having lunch here. It typically takes me two hours when I’m in here. I find several people that I know. The service is amazing and the food is amazing. Their bread is to die for. I usually get the metro salad with chicken or salmon but have occasionally gotten the Greek salad or the chicken salad croissant. They have a good wine selection too. I’ve also used them for catering and banquets. They are very accommodating.
Go somewhere else for special occasions. Usually, the food and service are pretty good, so we booked reservations for their Mothers’ Day brunch at 1130. We got seated a little bit late, but that was no big deal. The food was ok but mostly cold. At 1240 (about an hour after we got seated), our server, Tanya, informed us that there was another reservation for our table in 10 minutes. I have never been anywhere that has rushed me out of a reserved table. We were all quite appalled but obliged. I would’ve understood if we had been there 2 hours and had eaten more than our $30 worth of food. But we had been there just an hour with the first 15-20 minutes standing in the buffet line. Being rushed out of our special time with our family ruined what was supposed to be a good day.
