Best Indian food in town, possibly anywhere. Love the pakoras, korma, naan bread and everything else. We always get the vegetarian options so can’t speak to any meat dishes. But it is very good and service is outstanding. Possibly our favorite place for date night.
The food is delicious with large portions of entrees– always enough to take home and enjoy later! The naan and the tandoori roti ate served warm and fresh from the clay oven. The service is friendly, attentive and knowledgable. The lunch buffet is a great way to sample many dishes for a reasonable price! Overall a great dining experience!
Bad customer service. The owner does not know how to treat customers. Rude behavior and mediocre food. Not at all recommended.
Too much for too little.. The food itself is pretty good, although their flavors are somewhat muted compared to Indian restaurants in larger cities. The only real complaint I have is the prices. Astronomical. They charge you $15 for a small bowl (approx. 1.5 cups) of curry. If you’re eating there with a date, expect to split a single order of rice. For ~$4, you get a single small naan.Overall, I feel this restaurant is able to coast along due to the fact that it’s really the only Indian food joint in town. Put it up against any real competition, and it’ll sink fast. I like this place, but I do hope for some other options.
One word. YUM!
I read all the reviews after I walked in. I had dinner. Ordered samosas, chicken tikka masala at 8 hot and plain naan. Plus a Taj Mahal. Beer good. Received the chicken I’d say at 6 hot. It was good. The naan was not plain but hot and tasty. No samosas. The fat guy just sits in the corner and directs. The staff did a good job but could not advise on the menu at all. Not a bad experience.
Yes please.. I eat the buffet here about once a week. Just spot on delicious food. I practically crave chicken tikka masala and the baked chicken that comes out of the Tandoori. But from that starting point, I have expanded in to eating a little bit of everything they serve. Wonderful, wonderful food. I heartily recommend it.
