Best place to get authentic Salvadorean food in town. The food is amazing and the service is good. The new location is much nicer than the last. I tend to order ahead because everything is made from scratch. Get the pupusas and tortillas!
We looooved it! Great family restaurant, clean, nice, explained all dishes well. We had the pupusas, get them! 3 for 5.85, sooooo delightful. The tamale de pollo was awesome and yuca fries aaaaaamazing.
Yummy!!. First time there and we know nothing of El Salvadorian food. Our waiter was helpful and educational. We had the Queso and Queso con Loroco Pupusas, Tamales de Pollo, and Pollo Encebollado. All were yummy! I really don’t like refried beans at all and they were even great. We will definitely be back. Everything we tried was extremely flavorful.
Delicious!. Okay, first off…I don’t know anything about Salvadorian food. That said, I do know what I like, and the food here was very tasty. We had pupasas con todos, and tamales, and both were excellent. Service was good, and the place was clean. The waiter was very helpful, and gave us suggestions on what to order, as this was our first time. We’ll be back.
Wow! The food is authentic as it will get being in Wichita, KS. The staff is friendly and attentative to your needs. Loved the tamales but a little on the small side. Good horchata like momUse to make. I saw a person next to me get chicken soup an it looked and smelled delicious. Will go back before I leave Wichita.
After reading the other positive reviews and blogs, my spouse and I decided to give it a try. We both ordered pupusas and fruit water (combination of pineapple, mango, and apple). The drinks were amazing. It had chunks of fruit in it and was so cool and refreshing on a hot day (or any day for that matter). The pupusas were also quite tasty. They were nice and golden brown on the outside with a nice meaty middle. The slaw that was served with it, was very tasty as well. This is a great dining gem and we will be back.
