Should’ve heeded warnings. Overpriced, the server didn’t seem to know what grape leaves were nor what was on the menu, music was annoying and very loud the fries were not fresh even though I was the only person in the restaurant. The hummus was good however but I will never go back.
Mediocre middleastern food. The falafel was so so, not fresh. The pita and fool medamis were good. The kofta was either bony or very gritty. The chicken shawerma was what I expect at a concession stand. This is not part of the excellent Aladin Eatery chain which is in West Chester.
Best Mediterranean in the Cincinnati area!. In our opinion: The Mediterranean food is the best that we have had in the Cincinnati area! The decor isn’t all that much (much is left over from the former Mexican restaurant), but the wait staff is attentive and fun, prices are low, and the food is amazing… The hookahs seem to attract a young, but mellow, crowd. We will definitely be back…
Best Mediterranean Food and Service. This is by far one of the best Hookah Lounges/Mediterranean Restaurants that I have been to! The service is great and prompt! All the servers are extremely nice! I love the relaxed atmosphere it has, people are always playing cards, smoking (hookah) and enjoying each others company! I have been to many hookah lounges around this area (including Clifton) and Aladdin Cafe is the cleanest and best of them!
This place used to be Jalapeno’s Mex Mex and i think they closed because they weren’t getting much business and i think they weren’t getting much business because nobody wanted to go to a place with a annoying loud soda fountain.well, now it’s reopened as a mediterian place without the south-of-the-border wall decor but with the same furniture and the annoying loud soda fountain.i can’t really comment on the food because that darn annoying loud soda fountain in the middle of the dining room soured my enjoyment.i did notice with the gyro that the pita bread was larger than most i’ve seen at other gyro places but the meat & fillings were less & it cost more.i felt that while i was paying more i was really getting less.GREEK TO ME(Erlanger) is farther to get to , but it’s worth it in price & taste & value. hopefully, someone from aladdin’s will read this and either move that annoying loud soda fountain into another room out of earshot of the dining room or muffle that annoying loud soda fountain
Great Experience!!. I recently dined at Aladdin’s Cafe on a Thursday afternoon and it was a great experience!! I didn’t know anything about the food but the server was very helpful and patiently took the time to explain everything to me!! Everything tasted awesome, and the food was very reasonably priced!! I loved the environment and I can’t wait to go again, I’m so glad this place opened so close!!
