Just passing through Corbin on our way south ..seen Bubby’s reviews and thought we would try it .. glad we did … food was very good quality and quantity ..and priced right……..very nice waitress also a plus …we head south 3 or 4 times a year as our daughter lives in Alabama …this will be our stop over from NY when we travel this route down
Went for the Catfish. Came for the catfish and was not disappointed. I must have had it on four of my plates along with some frog legs. I even had my som try it who swore he would hate it. He tried it and went back for more several times. it was tough letting our drinks get low because they come by and refill them too soon. 😉 I would go back here in a heart beat if they were closer to Michigan.
Bubby’s, Corbin, KY. We go from Tennessee up I-75 on our way to Louisville, and we had seen Bubby’s billboard on the interstate several times. Most of the time when traveling, we stick with the chains, but decided to try Bubby’s on our last trip. It is not gourmet, but is very good, well seasoned country cooking. Plenty of variety, and I thought their bar-b-que pork was excellent. It was very clean, and I believe the weekday buffet was only $6.99 plus drink. We liked it so well, we stopped again on our return trip as well.
This place has great BBQ and catfish. The service was fine and price were reasonable.
Typical buffet restaurant, crappy food sitting around for a long time. I thought I was going to get some good homecooking BBQ but it was a waste of time. Service was also horrible, all the servers hung out in a closed section with there friends and eating. Maybe if I was a friend instead of a traveler I would of received good service.
