I love this place. Chili dogs are such a regional thing and this is of the type where the hamburger in the sauce is given an extra grind so the sauce is finer and a little bit grainy. Open during the warm months it’s always sad to see it close until the following year.Pretty good hamburgers and the gallon of root beer to go is good too.
This Corbin landmark is a Summer tradition. Generally I hats eating in the car but the Rootbeer Stand makes it fun. The burger’s are good, hotdogs are good and there’s nothing like having an ice cold root beer in one of their signature frosty mugs!
I LOVE this place!!! Everyone raves about the chili buns but I don’t eat meat so I just order a burger without the meat!! D-lish!!! Make sure you order a quart of orange or a mug of rootbeer!!
What a suprise. Ate here back in 1984/85…Just moved back to the area, and WOW glad to see that its still open and that the food is EXCELLENT! Will definitely go back.. What a great way to spend my lunch time….
They have great food! Can’t pick one thing it’s all good. Go there all the time very nice workers too.
Great Food. The cheese burgers are great, the fries are cooked to a perfect golden brown, and their root beer floats are so good it makes you wanna punch someone in the mouth.The only problem with the restaurant is that it’s closed in the winter.
