The Back Home Restaurant was inviting from the moment you park. The grounds themselves are beautiful and quaint. The wait wasn’t long. We ordered chicken fried steak and a pulled pork plate. Both were good. The corn pudding was creamy and delicious; we didn’t even add salt or pepper. Our waitress was great. She was funny and very personal. I would recommend this spot to anyone.(I wouldn’t have ranked this as a one $ restaurant, but, it was well worth it.)
An Elizabethtown must have. It’s back home, country cooking, food for the soul. The Meatloaf was juicy and very savory. The corn pudding was heaven in my mouth. Great for families. Roast beef was a bit dry but I’d give them another chance. Service was good.
