I don’t see how this place is still around. Cobbler’s is in a historic building across from the courthouse. The business before this was a shoe cobbler shop, hence Cobbler’s Cafe. For a place that serves coffee, it’s the worse. Bitter, grainy coffee. I watched the staff serve pies from the microwave while the milk was left out the entire time we were there. If it wasn’t for the courthouse being across the street, this place would have went out a long time ago.

Frozen Patty. Stopped in for lunch recently and found the place to be quaint and unique. The staff was friendly and service fast. The place had the smell of warm, stale grease, which I hate in a restaurant, but so common in older establishments. I ordered a hamburger and onions rings. The patty was clearly frozen but tasty. The rings were delicious. Will try again.

Saturday Lunch. Had a wonderful lunch experience this past Saturday. My son has an affinity for Onion Rings. He really enjoyed them and even shared with Mom. My daughter ordered the Blackberry Cobbler which she had tried before. It was devoured! Best cobbler we have ever eaten! Kudos to the staff! They had a full house [feeding a hungry basketball team]. They did a wonderful job serving everyone. We always get treated like family when we dine there. Also, the day was extra special because the basketball team participates in Special Olympics. My teenage son has Aspberger’s Syndrome. We were blessed by the experience. Did I mention my daughter and I shared a Turtle Brownie? Yum!

My family and I stopped by for lunch while traveling through the area, and between the six of us we couldn’t come up with one complaint! The atmosphere was charming and relaxing, and the owner was quick to take our order. The food arrived quickly, every dish was fresh and hot, and the flavors were clean yet well seasoned. I had the Fire Roasted Tomato Soup, and other family members had the BBQ sandwiches, omelets, a smoothie, French toast and a breakfast platter. The owner(s) were incredibly helpful, friendly, and attentive! If we’re ever in the area again, we’ll be sure to stop by!

Great coffee and dessert. Loved the coffee and desserts. Very cozy feeling atmosphere. Great owners/workers. Would love to go here more often, but I most often get the desire after they’re already closed! Have to respect being able to set your own hours and enjoy life though. Keep up the good work!
