Our server was extremely polite and quite attentive, but the food was a bit of a disappointment. Cracker Barrel in general is a little on the bland side, but knowing and accepting that you expect consistency.I had the sampler which is meatloaf (which was very good), chicken and dumplings (as expected), and ham… which was two-bite tiny. DW ordered the chicken fried steak which was actually of the salisbury (hamburger) variety. That’s just not chicken fried steak.Other than that, this location seemed like the others and, once again, the staff were super polite.
They are always busy…which indicates a fabulous place to eat! I don’t mind waiting, although I never do wait. I am always in and out within 30 minutes, completely satisfied everytime. You won’t be disappointed!

Of all the restaurants I know of, The Cracker Barrel Chain is the most consistent. They always have good food with a friendly atmosphere. Every now and then the service may be off, but the food is always excellent. The only negative I have is there aren’t many vegetarian choices available… Even the vegetables have meat in them! The only choice you have is to get a salad and even those have meat on them… What irritates me is when I get a salad and have them leave the meat off and still pay full price… Not good. Anyway, if your a meat eater then this place is for you.
Good food… too crowded.. The food is always excellent here. The staff who have waited on me have always been very polite. The only downfall is you feel like a sardine in a can when you eat here. You are packed in there like cattle. I always leave here with a full stomach… but it’s hard to get out from the table with your stomach full, and a heavy person sitting behind you…. Hmmmm
Cracker Barrel E_Town. I don’t want to appear negative on this lcoation however we have been there several times and it is always busy and normally with a wait time. The food is the same as found at most Cracker Barrel locations. Service is about the same. It’s just the wait that I fine and that is because it is a very busy location.I am sure we will go back as family lives in E-Twon and they really like this place.
