Excellent Independent Restaurant. I was sorely disappointed when I moved to Elizabethtown and found it overrun with chain restaurants. I come from a region with a diverse array of mom ‘n’ pop restaurants and was frustrated with our dining options, until we went to El Tapatio. The food is great, the al la carte options make for a cheap meal, Tuesday nights are 15% off, and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are very nicely priced. The wait staff is on the ball and they don’t nickel and dime you for extra chips or iced tea. It is also very clean and the decor is new and inviting. Dining in this restaurant is an overall satisfying place for a meal out, and my first choice to treat out of town guests!
Authentic Food & Friends. El Tapatio has everything that my husband, Derrick and I looked for in Mexican cuisine. The people are inviting and friendly, they have become friends of ours over the years. We also kept coming back because of the food, the ingredients are fresh, made to order, pleasant to look at and the taste- WOW. We just love it. When we go out, more often than not one of us will suggest El Tapatio. We have never been disappointed and I can’t imagine that anyone would be.
