Amazing, Authentic Chinese Food. Their Mandarin Chicken & Rice is Phenomenal! Nice, Calming Atmosphere for nice evening out with your loved ones. Excellent lunch prices & Wednesday buffet is great! You won’t be disappointed.
This is by far my favorite Chinese restaurant In which I have eaten within 17 states. Delicious, fresh, and authentic food with friendly, attentive staff. We frequent the Sunday lunch buffet, take out, and a nice quiet evening for just my husband and I. IHave never had a bad meal I the fifteen years in which I have dined at Green Bamboo!
One of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve ever eaten at. It’s on par with Chinese restaurants in Chicago’s Chinatown and Vancouver even though it’s in …. Elizabethtown, KY?! Any dish I’ve tried here has been excellent. The exception is sesame chicken isn’t as good as I would expect. Everything else like Pepper Chicken, Garlic Chicken, wonton soup, Mu Shu Chicken, etc. are all awesome.
What has changed????. Always, Always, Always, the Green Bamboo has been a top-notch local eatery with delicious food and wonderful service. Lately, food has been hit or miss. Don’t know if kitchen staff has changed but the wonderful, flavorful sauces that have been part of an institution for years have suddenly become watery, tasteless and bland. Even the Wednesday and Sunday buffet seem different. Hope it’s not the end of an era. Have loved this place for many years and sad to see it decline. Hope they take notice and remedy the problem. Having the right cook is terribly important and they have a great reputation to uphold!!!!
The best Chinese in Elizabethown, if not Central Ky! Great food with plenty of a selection to accommodate anyone – service is always top notch!
Green Bamboo. Nice place to eat. Had the Chicken & Broccoli lunch special. A really good price. They give you a lot to eat.
