One of our go-to restaurants in Lexington: Convenient, solid menu, huge portions, relaxing atmosphere and amazing prices. For an appetizer, we ordered the chips and homemade queso and salsa (an endless supply of fresh tortilla chips), which is always filling. I ordered the chicken tenders (well-seasoned tenderloins) and shrimp (hand-battered; fried) combination (with fries and sweet carrots). My wife ordered the cheeseburger, which exceeded expectations and tasted fresh and juicy. Scratch-made recipes and slow-cooked meats – we always have a great time here! We have recently visited other Americana restaurants like Chili’s and O’Charley’s, and Cheddar’s is so much better in all aspects, including quality, quantity and price.
This was my restaurant, five days a week 40/50.00 a night . It has great food and service a slow day at the bar is great, but get busy , and bartenders take carry out orders. You can sit and wait 10 / 15 min between drinks and get lost in a black hole of slow or no service. I’m don’t going to Logan’s here on out
Great food, fair prices and fun work staff. I have yet to have unsatisfying experience here. I have had the ribs, steak, salads, burgers, BLT’S and country fried steak. All very tasty.The fillet last time was perfectly grilled as ordered. I had a baked potato, broccoli cheese casserole and sauted mushrooms. There was nothing left. The cookie Sunday was awesome. I have never seen a place that processes as many to-go orders. The bartenders keep the drinks flowing while maintaining customers to-go order processing. A well oiled machine. Love this place!!! Any reviews otherwise are people who don’t understand that a great restaurant is always packed and you have to practice patiences. Customer for life.
3/3/2016 – It’s Cheddar’s. I don’t know what really more to say. The restaurant reminds me of Ruby Tuesday or Applebee’s. I’ve not been a fan, but not saying the food is bad. I don’t mind driving by Cheddar’s on the way to somewhere else.
Let me start out by saying that my family and I used the carry out option at Cheddar’s, so I did not take off for things like the nachos not being crunchy because that is how it is when you carry out and they are not to be punished for my choice of not wanting to actually get dressed and moving from in front of my TV to actually eat there.I had the 20 ounce bone-in ribeye and I asked for it medium rare and that is exactly what I got! it was amazing and perfectly cooked. I loved it and honestly it is enough for 2 or 3 meals for me. My son had the kids chicken tender meal and those tenders were HUGE!! I was breaking them up for him and I got several good sized chunks out of one of the tenders and they were super crunchy! Imagine crunchy tenders for carry out..My husband had the sirloin and ribs and honestly I did not get to ask him how it was because it was gone! he asked for loaded mashed potatoes and they are not on the menu that I saw but they got him loaded mashed potatoes!!! Most places will be like, we do not have that, but they got them made for him. Wonderful!!! Ordering on the phone is rather trying in any situation, but they made it easy and the order was totally right!! I have been here one other time for a late lunch and the hamburgers are amazing! We will definitely be doing carry out and going in to eat again!
It’s not the best food I’ve ever had, but it’s also not the worst. I live near a Cheddars, so I will occasionally get the food because it is close, but it isn’t that spectacular.
Don’t call in a To go order here it took 12 minutes to answer phone Then I approach manager had nothing to say. Good food poor service. No more to go orders
