A unique addition to the Lexington food scene, and a true hidden gem! Oddly positioned on New Circle, come here for very authentic and fresh Mexican-style seafood.Instead of typical chips and salsa, we were served Tostadas De Ceviche De Cameron (Shrimp Ceviche Tostadas), with lime wedges, which were light and refreshing. My wife ordered the Coctel de Camaron Chico (a shrimp cocktail), with fresh shrimp and spicy cocktail sauce. I ordered the Camarones Rellenos, juicy jumbo shrimp wrapped in crispy bacon and filled with a special sauce, served with an orange slice, a piece of toasted bread, a small Caesar salad, hand-cut steak fries with a mayo-based dipping sauce, and some perfectly cooked and well-seasoned white rice. El Malecon was expensive, but well worth it; although the food was not perfect, it was innovative, and with some time, this place will hit its stride!
