Customer service. I have called there twice to find two different items. When I asked for each, the employee there evidently did not know what it was (both chilies) and treated me rudely, then hung up.
I love this place.. I have been eating here off and on since I was 18. I’m 28 now and I will eat here every chance I get. I’ve also brought many people here to experience authentic Mexican cuisine for the first time. I first tried lengua here (beef tongue) and it is delicious. The prices are great and the servings are generous. Also, eating there is an experience in itself. The salsa is awesome and obviously very fresh. I feel that they cook with the care and quality they would serve their own family. Also they remember who I am and that’s an awesome feeling. I usually order a beef tongue quesadilla with refried beans and rice. So good. The refried beans are different than what is served at typical Americanized Mexican restraunts they wear crispy in places and not just mush. As far as service goes… Expect the service level you would get from family not like you would at a fancy restraunt. Anyway, this place is soooo much better than the more popular tortilliareia ramieraz around the corner… I think the only reason it is more popular because it is easier to see because it is directly on Alexandria drive. So good so fresh mmmmm… Check it out if you want real quality authentic Mexican food. You will not be disappointed.
My friends and I LOVE this place. Incredibly authentic. They don’t really speak any English, but you can get the order across with some pointing on the menu; or often times there is someone in there who can translate. The food is very good. I got the burrito, large portions and quality meat. We only stumbled upon this place while in Paris for a city event. Pretty discrete from the outside. I will be back.
Ripping people off. We went in there to get food and they told us we could use food stamps but the guy wanted to charge us double price. That is not even legal. I would not go there for anything ever again.
