Masala is wonderful. The buffet is the best one in Lexington. Everything is always well prepared and delicious. For dinner, their menu offerings are amazing. They are very willing to tailor the spice level to your taste and can really set you on fire if you wish. The owner is a great guy and is very welcoming. Give it a try.
This restaurant transformed my life! Not onlyIs Indian Cuisine now my favorite type of cuisine, I’ve even turned many of my own friends onto it! Try the Chicken Tikka Masala on Plain Naan and the chicken or Veggie Korma with Pishwari Naan. Will knock off socks.
Masala is amazing! A cozy and quiet restaurant, with friendly owners/service and generous portions. Our carry-out experience has likewise been very positive.Our meal was perfectly paced. We ordered the shrimp pakora for our appetizer. For our entrees, we ordered the chicken biryani (mild) and the chicken tikka masala (mild), with plain naan. Reasonable prices and downright delicious food!Our favorite Indian cuisine in Lexington!
Good Indian food. They give you some bread and dips before your food comes. We had awful service when we were there even though more than half the restaurant was empty. The food was good though once we finally ordered
Delicious Buffet. The lunch buffet is very very good. It’s not very spicy, but I guess they want to keep it appealing for those who can’t handle spice. They also allow you to carry out the buffet. It’s very affordable. I filled a carry-out box for $9.00 even (including tax), and ate it for two meals. Really recommend!
I highly recommend the Lamb Anything here, as every lamb dish I’ve tried at Masala has been the best dish of my life. This is the place I go when my wife says we can go anywhere that I want. This is without doubt the best Indian you will have in this town. You really get consistency out of the dishes, even with all of the spices that go into them. Try the Lamb Pasanda first, medium heat if you aren’t sure what you can handle. It will be plenty spicy, but probably not overpowering.
BEST INDIAN FOOD. Love this place, we are frequent visitors. We come for the buffet at least once a week, it is very fairly priced and always offers variety! Everything is always fresh, flavorful and satisfying. There’s always something new to try!!! The owners are genuine and we always leave smiling, glad to tell them they’ll be seeing us again soon.
