Mediocre food and a staff that could care less we were there. Then the big surprise came. $55 for lunch! Sushi appetizer was warm and not very fresh. My medium rare steak ended up medium well. Food lacked flavor.
We eat here 3-4 times a year, not a lot, but it takes an hour to get there. Even though we have a hibachi restaurant 5 minutes from home, and pass others on the way, this is where we go. Great food, and the cooking show is always entertaining. The food here is better, and the show is way above all others that we have been too. I highly recommend this place.
Had the best time and meal here tonight!! The presentation is very important for hibachi, and this guy was amazing!! Excellent food and big portions!! Not to mention the SAKE!! Will be back often!! Excellent
THE Hibachi place to be. In my search to find the best hibachi in Lexington, I always come back to Miyako. The food is consistently great, the restaurant is usually full but not crowded, and they always treat you well. The chefs are fun and sometimes you’ll even get a little extra food just because they brought too much rice out. I’ve only had the sushi a few times, and while I rarely eat sushi, I loved the sushi I got here. This is one of my favorite places in Lexington to go.
Passing thru town–the Miyako Fusion Salad is absolutely delicious and truly unique. Love sushi, but low carbing– the Avocado Tower was sooooo good and had no rice! Definitely recommend this place.
LOVE THIS PLACE!. Miyako is the best Hibachi in town, my boyfriend and I will not go anywhere else. The food is always good! We have never been disappointed and have been here many times and ordered different items.
A trip to lex is not complete without a Miyako visit. Best hibachi chefs in the region – always a great show with wonderful food. The sushi is always fresh and well prepared. Sometimes we will think of going someplace new – when we have we have been disappointed in comparison to Miyako. Great service, great value, great food!
