I can’t believe this dump is in business. If you like terrible, cheap pasta and re-used bread (from previous customers not finishing), then you will love this place. If not, you’ll eat here and wonder how anyone would think this food is (1) good, and (2) worth serving to the public.
An underwhelming experience at Paisano’s. Although service was adequate, the atmosphere and the decor desperately need to be updated, and the cuisine, at least in my opinion, simply misses the mark. For an appetizer, we ordered the fried potatoes, which were sliced too thickly (and accordingly were not crispy enough); also, I ordered the minestrone soup, which was more broth and salt than vegetables, and the dinner rolls tasted dry. For my entree, I ordered the chicken cacciatora (sauted chicken with mushrooms, onion, and green peppers, with marinara and served over linguini pasta), which consisted of overcooked chicken and too much sauce. For my wife’s entree, she ordered the chicken picatta (boneless chicken breast sauteed in a delicate lemon garlic sauce, served with spaghetti), which she said was full of flavor and tasty. We will likely return, but not any time soon.
An old favorite. Yes, the decor & menu is like being in a time machine and traveling to 1985, but… It’s a dependable favorite that never disappoints. It’s comforting, traditional Italian food. We’ve always had excellent service and yeah, it’s cheesy, but I love it!!! Don’t change a thing, please!
Great Food and Great Service. Just like we remembered.. Went back to Paisano’s for the first time in years. For years this was a regular stop and our favorite Italian in Lexington. Realized tonight it’s still our favorite and will again be a go to stop going forward. Fantastic service. Quick and plenty of attention without being in the way. We both had the eggplant parm and it was every bit as good as we remembered. Sometimes things don’t change with time because they just don’t need to. This is classic Italian food done well. If you’ve never been to Paisano’s give it a try. If you haven’t been in a while (like us), go back and you’ll be glad you did.Got a dessert to go. I only hope I am hungry enough later to enjoy it. I’m already looking forward to our next visit. I know it won’t be years before we go back. More likely, it’s next week.
Great service. I thought I should share my great experience at this restaurant, I’ve been here multiple times and have had multiple different waiters but this time I had Caci as a waitress and she made my dine in experience wonderful, she’s very sweet and stayed on top of everything. My drinks never went empty. My food came out fast. I will definitely come back and request her as my waitress!
Poor service, decent food. I’ve been here 3 times and have received awful service every time. The servers are all rude and slow. I prefer Fazoli’s sauce over Paisano’s (and it’s a fraction of the price). Luckily, I had restaurant certs each time I came here, otherwise I would have been REALLY disappointed and refused to pay full price. All 3 times, when the servers found out I had certs, they were incredibly rude about it– if you don’t want people to use them, then they shouldn’t offer them! If you go here, make sure you have 3 or more hours to spend on dinner, because that’s about how long it takes to get served here.
Awful service and food. We went for a date night. The server was focusing on a larger table and ignored us for 25 min. After we got our entrees. We both wanted another drink and waited as she passed our table more than a dozen times. Worst service we have ever had. Pasta had obviously been cooked in advanced and microwaved for this evening. For a 53.00 dinner Fazolies would have been a step up. They used to have such great food! Really disappointing.
