After hearing good things about Pho BC, I went for there for lunch today. I like trying new things/places and every once in a while Lexington has a hidden jewel when you wanna eat outside of the burgers and steak realm. This is a shopping strip gem tucked across the street from Kroger on Nicholasville Rd in the Regency Center area.We lucked out and managed to get a table at lunch time. Several tables scattered about a small clean-looking space. We were greeted by a pleasant young man who was more than attentive/helpful.They offer a variety of things (see attached menu), but I focused mainly on their noodle bowls/soups. I had the chicken noodle, but they were nice enough to make it spicy hot for me (adding some chilis and setting a little extra aside for me with sliced jalapenos and bean sprouts in case I wanted to pump it up a notch more). Yummy. Just the right amount of heat and flavor, large chunks of chicken, plenty of rice noodles. And for $10 (the large bowl) I had enough leftover to take home with me for another meal. By meal companion had their special pancake (a savory pancake filled with various shaved vegetables and shrimp with lettuce on the side to wrap with). Not a place I would eat at unless I wanted to impress my date with my soup slurping skills. I would suggest a bib or not wearing a white shirt. I kid, but you know what I mean. I hovered over my bowl, gobbling up my broth-soaked noodles.I would highly recommend it to anyone who as a hankering for Vietnamesecuisine.I struggled to find a menu online so I went ahead and grabbed one to share. While the prices might change in the future, you can at least see what they offer.

The atmosphere was decent and the service was kind but mostly inattentive. The kids pho bowls were nice and something that most Vietnamese restaurants do not often make available. The broth tasted store-bought and the noodles were a but overcooked.

The best pho in Lexington! Good service and great food! Only thing is that I wish they were open on Tuesdays. Favorite dishes are the spicy beef pho and tofu salad rolls.

Delicious. I was passing by this shop yesterday…and saw the sign soups. I love soups and with the weather getting cold, decided to stop in to see what they have. I am not squeamish and will try anything, but I wasn’t familiar with Vietnamese food, I love Thai though and I figured it wouldn’t be THAT different. I love all types of food, so I knew I would find something that I would enjoy. The seafood combination soup was filled with, shrimp, calamari, crab meat (imitation) chicken, lemongrass, rice noodles, broth and more. The bowl was HUGE and I was prepared to take some home for lunch today, but it was so good that I ate it all. Can’t wait to try more!

I ordered the rice vermicelli bowl with a pork egg roll. Food was good, I only wish the portions were larger. I received about 3 ounces of sliced pork in my bowl. We also ordered spring rolls for an appetizer. They were small and had a one thin slice of pork inside. No fresh herbs or anything to enhance the roll. Maybe I have been spoiled by superior vietnamese food back home. I’ll keep looking for a good restaurant. Most likely will not be back
