Consistently good service & food!
Perfect place for salad and pizza. This place is awesome when you are in the mood for a little pizza and a chopped salad. The portions are just right and you don’t feel like you have stuffed yourself. Good atmosphere, friendly staff, fast service. The tomato basil soup is to die for! YUM!20 Dec, 2014Chopped Salad. Favorite Fast Food Restaurant. Smashing Tomato has never disappointed. Although the service is fairly quick, all the food is freshly made. Three words that best describe what I like about it…fresh, fresh, fresh. Love it and can highly recommend it.
Maybe… I just don’t get it.. I’m trying to figure out how this is vegan friendly? I get that plain bread, plain lettuce, and olive oil are all vegan, but really that isn’t something I am going to pay money for. I feel like the atmosphere is cheap… not a casual pizza place, but not a nice restaurant either. Also, it’s a chain I believe so it’s not fun or unique (like Mellow Mushroom or Grey Goose). Overall, every time someone says they love this place, I just wonder why? It isn’t even what I would call good, lacks flavor, and the service seems very rushed. So, I suppose for me, this place is just boring and overrated.
I LOVE IT. They have one of the best pizzas in Lexington…I always find myself back here eating. GREAT
Just OK. Met some friends for dinner here over the weekend. Got the margherita pizza with their smashing sauce. The pizza was just OK – nothing special. It was not too expensive so I have no problem with it really. If I’m going to go out for pizza, though, I’d rather go to some place like Mellow Mushroom or the Grey Goose.
