I went to the Fayette mall this weekend and thought of having mu lunch at the CheeseCake Factory. The place was beautifully setup and was almost full. We were guided to our seats where a humble waitress was there to cater us. The menu had a good range of options to choose from. The food was tasty and cheesecake just blew my mind. The service was slow, but the place was too crowded. So, I believe that could be the reason. And, the food was slightly overpriced.

My wife, son, daughter-in-law, and I went to the Cheesecake Factory at Fayette Mall in Lexington, Kentucky, on October 4, 2015, to celebrate their anniversary. We registered our arrival with the staff and waited, waited, waited. We left without being seated after 1.0 hour and after watching 6 families who had no reservation get seated after we had let the Cheesecake Factory know we wanted to eat there. The staff was rude and lied to us. We will never go back nor will we ever recommend to anyone this restaurant. Jim Seymour, Lexington, Kentucky

A wonderful atmosphere, an amazing space, and friendly service, but you sure do pay for it. Very expensive prices and an encyclopedia for a menu, which I never like. Having said that, the appetizers and the cheesecake were delicious, but once again, we found the entrees to be lacking. For appetizers, we ordered the crispy Cuban rolls (crispy wrappers filled with slow roasted pork, ham, melted Swiss cheese, pickles and mustard, served with a pickled mayo dip) and the crispy fried cheese (mozzarella and fontina cheeses, served with marinara sauce). For entrees, we ordered the pasta (lunch portion) with chicken and scampi sauce and the Italian sandwich (roast turkey, Italian soppressata, prosciutto, marinated cherry peppers, fontina and parmesan cheese with lettuce, tomato and mayo on a grilled artisan roll). For cheesecake, my wife ordered the Toasted Marshmallow S’mores Galore (Hershey’s cheesecake topped with house-made marshmallow and Honey Maid graham crackers) and I ordered the Vanilla Bean (creamy vanilla bean cheesecake, topped with vanilla mousse and whipped cream). The crispy Cuban rolls were a highlight and offered an amazing combination of flavors, and the accompanying dip was spot-on. Unfortunately, the pasta was saturated with sauce and was way too greasy, and the Italian sandwich should have been served warm, and the sandwich was overwhelmed by the artisan roll because it was sliced too thickly (also, the fries were served cold). In the future, we will return for appetizers and cheesecake when we are near the mall or before we go to the movies.

Disappointed. My 8 yr. old grandaughter and I ate at the Fayette Mall location on Sunday. The service was good but, the food was way overpriced. I ordered a pasta dish and it had five square bite sized pieces of chicken for $17.00. My granddaughter wanted shrimp but, the kids menu has typical greasy, high fat menu items. I ordered her an appetizer size shrimp dish and a side of steamed broccoli. They charged over $5.00 for nine broccoli florets. My total with tip was $54.00. I will not be back because there are many other places in lexington with just as good, if not better food for a more reasonable price.

Paying for the name not the food. Called to place a carry out order, after ringing 6 times the phone was picked up then immediately hung up. Called back to place an order and was told one of the items I was confirming was not as the menu had stated. Places order and was told 20 minute wait time ( which was good considering I was ordering around 6pm). Went to get food and it was 23.31 for a burger and a slice of cheesecake. I asked for condiments and did not get any the cheesecake was no bigger than a slice of cheesecake u would pay at Walmart. Overpriced!! Would not eat there or recommend anyone eating there unless u had 50 bucks for two people NOT INCLUDING DRINKS OF ANY KIND!

Unorganized & too expensive. Ate here for the first time today with my daughter. We sat at the table for 20 mins before our drink orders were taken because the server assigned to our section called in sick, and nobody bothered to tell the hostess. The menu was way too big, in my opinion, and the prices were a bit much for the food offered. I got the fish and chips for $17. The coleslaw was amazing, but the entree should be served on a plate rather than in a wire basket lined with paper. The fish was flavorless. Fries were good though. My daughter got a chicken sandwich and it was very tasty. The cheesecake we had was certainly delicious, but not worth $8 a slice (guess thats why the dessert prices are not on the menu). Our waiter was very nice, but he was taking care of 3 sections, and therefore way too busy to give attentive service. Our total bill was over $50, and thats just too pricey for lunch. Overall it was just okay. Too noisy and unorganized for such an established business.

Great customer service. We ordered take out last week, when we got back home our order was wrong. I called the manager who offered to fix it if we were able to come back. Unfortunately we are about 20 mins away and it wasn’t possible. So the manager mailed me a gift card to make it right. Very grateful, and will deff try back again.
