Incredible.. This is long over due for me to give them props officially but they never disappoint! My girlfriend and I generally try to make it at least once a week and have been for probably the last 6-8 months. The burger is always amazing and really anything I’ve ever had is incredible. We’ve done a beer/food pairing and I highly recommend.
Crab Stuffed Twice Baked Potato. Menu should have read baked potato (not twice baked), cold on the inside and topped with some crab stuffing that was mediocre at best. I can understand the stuffing, but if menu says twice baked please don’t bring out a regular cold baked potato….

Licked my plate in public after this one.11 Aug, 2014Can’t go wrong. I had Gastro Gnomes for the first time about five months ago and have made a point to find them at least once a week ever since. They have a constantly changing menu with items that are more of an experience than just a meal. Funnel cake chicken wings, nutella bread pudding, shark tacos, goat cheese and bacon jam burger, maple chicken and brie over pasta, coffee crusted pork chops and fried bologna are a few of my absolute favorites. My husband and I experienced Gastro Gnomes for the 1st time today at the Cup Commonwealth’s 1 year anniversary. I had the Italian basil pesto bacon cheeseburger and my husband had the hot chicken on toast. I loved the burger; the combination of the basil pesto, mozzarella and bacon with a perfectly cooked hamburger was outstanding. The hot chicken on toast was just as it sounds like; a hot and delicious sauce over juicy chicken pieces on Texas toast. We will definitely be back to experience more of the yummy looking menu.
The food is sooo good
Inexpensive Gourmet Gods. Wow! I have had many things that the Gnomes offer. The fish tacos, as stupidly simple as it may sound, are absurdly amazing! The fish is tender, the seasonings are spot on, and the proportions are perfect! The two (seriously tattooed) guys who own and run the truck are great! They give fantastic suggestions for what to order, and not suggestions based on price, but suggestions based on what YOU like to eat. Within a month, you need to seek this food truck out! You will not be disappointed!
Gastrorageous!!!. First time with The Gastro Gnomes but I hope to catch them again soon. The Pimento and Candied Bacon Burger was Food Porn!!!! Perfectly cooked so that it was all juicy inside not to mention hot and sultry. That sweet nectar exploded on my taste buds with every bite. Great job guys. You guys are another notch in Lexington’s Food Scene Belt!!!!!
