Delightful experience. Several ladies at Church were talking about their delightful experience in eating at The Gift Box and Tea Room, so I decided to invite a friend to join me for lunch there. We had a wonderful time. Our waitress was on top of our needs, drinks never got below half-full and the owners even came over to chat. Food was delicious. In honesty, it is not where my hubby would enjoy eating because he is a meat/potatoes/gravy kind of guy, but this is a wonderful place for women to go with friends, daughters and mothers. In fact, two groups of friends are getting together for a Holiday lunches there in December.
Delightful!. Our reservations for 12 for lunch on a Tuesday was pleasantly accommodated with 3 round tables put together and we all could talk and see one another. This was our bible study group and various ages and tastes. This menu is small but that is what is so great because the quality of what they do have is done to perfection. I had the quiche and salad. The quiche was very creamy and moist and not eggy tasting. The variety of lettuce, cherry tomato with the most flavorful blue cheese dressing. The company I had with me, we were all served at the same time, drinks were kept full. Our servers name was Grace and she was very gracious to us and not rushing us, we had a great visit. There is a gift shop to look through with boutique gifts. All the other dishes looked so good I can not wait to return. The desert was similar to derby pie with coconut. I will go back to have the chess pie next as well. I inquired on the Internet regarding to this tea room and why I had not ever heard of it, pleasantly surprised only been open 2 years so I wish them much success so we can continue going!
