The food is good. Truly. The atmosphere is bright and fun. Nice place to meet someone for breakfast. But in peak hours it can be maddeningly crowded. Its not a cheap breakfast but it doesnt taste cheap, either.

Pretty good food but a little overpriced in my opinion. I wasnt a huge fan of the mamosas but the staff is incredibly pleasant and the place is comfortable. I still managed to have a nice breakfast with my sweetheart that seemed intimate and had the early-morning ease of a quiet Sunday despite the restaurant being very busy.

Standard wild eggs. Don’t suggest trying to go on a Sunday, very busy. Good food always happy to have the salmon eggs Benedict or the breakfast burrito.

I ordered the Smoken Hash. Much to my surprise the corned beef in the hash was lunch meat. I expect more from a place that is a breakfast place.

Best eggs Benedict in town. The Palomar location is by far the best wild eggs I have been to. The staff is always friendly and the food comes out very quickly

Update: Honestly, my rating would be higher if based solely on the cuisine (recently tried the Mr. Potato Head Casserole, and it was absolutely delicious), but the overall experience remains disappointing. Wild Eggs feels pretentious, service was distracted and slow, our table was unclean, and small specks of something were floating in our creamer. I am not yet wild about Wild Eggs, but could be in the future. In my opinion, an off-putting decor and layout, with average service, especially at the bar. I have previously ordered the Chili Verde Huevos Rancheros (two eggs any style, with green chili, black beans, skillet potatoes, sour cream, pico de gallo, green onion and a warm flour tortilla). The skillet potatoes were bland, and the presentation of the dish was odd. Overall, solid, but not amazing.I most recently ordered the Creole Omelet, which pleasantly surprised me due to fresh ingredients and a perfect combination of flavors (rock shrimp, Andouille sausage, bell pepper, onion, cheddar jack cheese, and Creole hollandaise), served with skillet potatoes (yet again bland) and an Everything Muffin (which was average and dry).A welcomed addition to Lexington’s food scene from Louisville, with a daring menu, yet I need to see better execution in its entrees before placing it in the rotation.

WTF Bagel. Came here for a lox bagel – got the mini version. The Bagel was so tough you couldn’t cut it with a steak knife (the waiter at least was cool and warned me ahead of time) but seriously, food that is so tough you can’t eat it and you’re charging 12$? Gimme Great Bagel any day of the week – better atmosphere, better coffee, and you CAN CHEW THEIR FOOD!
