Fuji has a multiple diversity. You get a taste of a everthing. You get great food some good drinks and some friendly smiles. I would eat there once a week but my belt would not like it.

Disappointed. We have tried the new location on Houston Road two times and have been disappointed on each visit. First visit we sat at a traditional table and this weekend at a hibachi table. The only good part is that the new location is far superior for seating, but the lack of good service and the disappointing hibachi presentation on a Saturday night is enough for us to say no more. The food quality on both visits was mediocre. In addition the portions are small compared to other hibachi grills we have experienced. Everyone in our group agreed that the hibachi chef’s were rushed and lacking in entertainment skills. We estimated that they were at the grills for less than 10 minutes and were off to another table. One last note, if you are the type who like to enjoy a stop at the bar before being seated you will be let down. A small bar that is located in the lobby waiting area was staffed on both visits by a less than cheerful bartender. We wish we could say something more positive because we were hoping to come back for a visit to the Sushi bar, but that is not going to happen after this weekend’s experience.

Won’t Rush Back!!!. I was very much looking forward to taking my boyfriend out for dinner so made a reservation. No point in that since our name was simply added to the bottom of the list when we arrived. We went on a Sat evening, place was crowded, extremely loud with a girl at the hostess desk who appeared to never have entered the restaurant prior to that evening. Another exceedingly rude hostess was running around, called out names and if they didn’t answer in 10 seconds simply moved on to the next name on the list. When she did seat us, she walked so fast we actually lost her. The waitress was asking what we wanted to drink before we even arrived at our seats. The meals all come with a bowl of soup and salad. I would suggest they serve the salads in much smaller bowls. At least that way it wouldn’t be so obvious that they were only giving you a tiny portion. The chefs definitely put on a good show and are the highlight of the restaurant. The food itself has very little taste and the ingredients are no doubt bought at a discount outlet. My steak has so much fat that half my portion was left on my plate. I was very happy the birthday dessert was complimentary since it likely arrived via taxi from the fast food Mexican joint across the road. All this and a price tag of $68. I can’t imagine what could possibly spur me to return to this place again!!

Food was Ok but the service was horrible. Went to Fuji with a group of friends on a Tuesday night. I arrived after everyone had ordered but sat for 10 min before I was asked if I wanted a beverage. They had ordered numerous rolls to share but 2 of them ordered simple tuna. Our rolls arrived after about an hour but our friends with the tuna sat for another 20 min waiting. When one of the ladies had to leave and told them to cancel her order they insisted on bringing it to her to go. They still charged her for it (which was ok) but when she went to pay for it, the server asked her if she had forgotten her tip. Could not believe it! They were crazy understaffed and they seem to lack an understanding of how to treat customers. The rolls were decent but not prepared as requested. Probably will not go again.

We have been frequent visitors of the Fuji steakhouse in Eastgate since it opened, probably at least twice a month. Our children all love it and are sure to clean their plates. We will however, not be returning. We arrived today at 12:30 after driving a half hour to eat there and upon being seated were told they were only serving dinner menu due to the holiday, it is New Year’s Eve. We weren’t happy but agreed to stay because the kids were all seated and excited. We were then told that the kids meals would not be their normal 50% off either. I asked to speak to the manager and she was VERY rude. The menu clearly states that kid meals are 50% EVERYDAY. she said we should have checked the website before coming because it would have told us of the holiday pricing. I DID check the website and it does NOT mention the price change. Way to go, you lost very loyal customers and all of my FB audience.

WONDERFUL!!. So I don’t know if you all know, but Fuji has opened in a new location on Huston road! The interior is so BEAUTIFUL! This is for all of the people who I guess just don’t understand how the whole setting process goes, you CAN NOT be seated at the HIBACHI grill until ALL of your party members are there. And it is hard to seat a group of 11 people at a hibachi table that only seats 8 so the Host has to wait until there is 2 tables together. If you have a reservation that simply means you have first seating when a table big enough for your party is open. So in all reality if you have a party of like 15 or more that is when you should make a reservation. So reservations at a Hibachi grill is pretty pointless. Also if there has been walk ins waiting to be seated longer than the reservations then they WILL get seated first. I really hope this helps people understand the positing of the host a lot better they are just trying to there job the best they can but trust me they are doing more than one job there they also have to do take out. Now for the Servers if you don’t see that the servers are running back and forth from kitchen to table it can get extremely hard. It kind of seems like none of the customers understand how it was to work at a restaurant or a customer service job anymore. These people live on there pay checks and they don’t get enough money so tip them whats an extra few dollars gonna hurt? Hey I am a poor college student and I STILL manage to tip where ever I go because I understand how it is to work at a restaurant. But really take it easy on the servers and the host, they work there butts off. Also they hired a bunch of new people so take it easy on them it is a hard job to learn. I really hope this helps some people understand more what is going on here at Fuji. It is a great placed filled with great people!!

Good food. High Prices. The food is good as well as the show that comes with it. However, the prices are getting a little high. It’s a nice restaurant for a special occasion, but not a place to eat at on a regular basis.
