Exemplary Sushi. This is absolutely the BEST sushi in the NKY area. The Master chef introduced me to Spicy Tuna. Now I compare all others to his.Service is always prompt; the miso delicious and light. I eat there at least twice a week when I’m in the area and often take friends with me. I have never had less than a very good experience. When I eat out, I’m more likely to eat there than ALL OTHER options in the area.
Japanese without the american. Matsuya authentic at best, foreign at worst. You can’t go wrong with their flavor’s, their wide variety of choices, and in America where its hard enough to find good asian food you need look no further. This restaurant is all the lovely vibration of Japan, without all the american drivel to weigh it down with overly fake service and less than lustrous faux-traditions. This is Japanese, owned and operated, mind the banner when you come in, but come in often.
I concur. Matsuya serves the best sushi in Greater CIncinnati and there isn’t a close second, in my opinion. I could not recommend the tempura highly enough for tempura fanatics either. An incredible bang for the buck. The restaurant is hard to find for non-locals and I do think the location keeps it a hidden gem. I dine there at least monthly if not more often. An added bonus in the adjoining Japanese market for those that would like the opportunity to take home some authentic food products. A+
Best Sushi in Greater Cincinnati. The sushi is always the best and reasonable. They have the best/freshest fish in Cincinnati. If you like sushi, you will like theirs.
