Wonderful place, Wiedemann on tap. Shaky’s fish sandwich alone is worth the drive to Florence even if you live in Ohio. It’s huge, thick and flakey. The Shakyburger is also great. Top quality all the way around, and the atmosphere is very inviting. If you’re lucky you’ll get to meet Shaky Shaw himself. He’s a treat too. And there’s Wiedemann beer on tap, a Northern Kentucky tradition since 1870. Highly recommended. You’ll go back again and again.
Was staying at a nearby hotel and needing to find a sports bar to hang out with a large group and watch a game. This place is a gold mine. Food was awesome. Nice drink specials. Will hopefully be back next time I’m in town.
My boyfriend and I came here to eat Friday afternoon. This place was AMAZING! an 11/10 pretty much. The Shakeys Chili was wonderful, and the salad was perfect. The ranch is homemade, and tasted phenomenal. The burgers were the BEST burgers we’ve always have. This place was dope!
Food was awful, we had wings and fried bologna. Place was filthy inside. Do not reccomend even if you are starving
Open late with many good options on the menu. Food was much better than I expected.
Good Pub Food. Went there yesterday with some friends to watch the football games and had the Cod sandwich with chips. The sandwich was really good and the amount was more than enough. We also had some wings and though I didn’t pick the heat level (I like them spicier) they were still very tasty. The service was friendly and we never had an empty glass. Tab was $22 plus tip for the sandwich and 4 pints of Sam Adams.
Homemade Soups. Great homemade soups Shakey likes to make the soups himself.
