  Welcoming!. My husband and I just moved here and have been looking for a new place to hang out. The people here are awesome ! The waitresses, owner, and locals are so kind and welcoming! They made us feel right at home! Had a great time talking with everyone and getting to know them. Friendliest place we’ve been to in a long time! They really went out of their way. Loved it!!

  RUDE bartender!!. Was up there a few nights ago, and the bartender (who had glasses and dark brown hair) was very rude. Doubt I will go back after witnessing such rude behavior. Was rude to us, and rude to other patrons. Hadn’t been to Stringtown in years and was very disappointed. Wish I would have gotten her name, because I’d post it. Left a bad taste in my mouth, for sure.

  I Miss the Good Ole Days. I went to Stringtown more than a few times many years ago and remember the farmers and business men sitting around in a slightly smokey room eating some of the best fried chicken or biscuits and gravy around (though my Mom’s and Grandma’s was better). That’s all gone and the latest version leaves a lot to be desired.

  4/17/2011 Visit. My fiance and I just ate there today, I had went there when I was a child with my parents quite often, however I have to say that I wish now I would have not gone there today. We went for lunch today, and we ordered just the basic Cheeseburger and fries. Mine came out with no cheese, the waitress took it to the back, and slapped a piece of cheese on it, I’m sorry but I am a person who likes my whole sandwich warm, not just the meat, and I like my cheese melted. We also thought that fries came with the burger, but I guess that was wrong as well. We ended up paying 23.00 for a burger and fries that was not enjoyable at all, more bread and less meat is what we had. We just went to Applebees last week and for 26.00 got 2 steak dinners, we were very disappointed. I hope our input helps your establishment become better, cause I will sure let my friends and family know of my experience today,

  So so bar fare and greasy meals…. My husband and I tried Stringtown Bar and Grill a couple of different times. We go out for Breakfast on the weekends and we wanted to try this place out. Everything is really greasy and not very tasty. We ate lunch here as well, and the food was below average tasting. The bizarre part of the whole experience was that in the dining room there are all these Chef certificates and accolades hanging on the wall, but the food is definitely not gourmet, it aspires to be sub par.
