After discovering the Cook Out in Richmond a few years ago I was thrilled to find one in Frankfort. This is not a quiet casual dining experience with your significant other. This is a down-and-dirty, gotta feed the kids who won’t eat the same thing as their siblings, and do it on the cheap kinda place. Cook Out has a wide enough variety of food that you will be able to satisfy all of your picky eaters. The food is good, the price is better!

Not happy. The employee messed up my order at the drive thru. Wanted a cheeseburger deluxe with onion rings and slaw. After waiting 10 min at pickup window they handed me a chicken samwhich , chopped lettuce they passed for slaw. And over charged me. First and last visit. Won’t be back! No thanks….
WORSE BARBEQUE EVER!!!!. Got carry out of barbeque, slaw and fries. Started eating no sauce of any kind on the barbeque, guess I was to ask for some. The barbeque looked awful and tasted worse. Slaw was just cabbage shredded finely. Fries were ok. Took 2 bites and threw my food away. I spent $8.00 for fries!!! Don’t know why the place is packed!!! You can have my place in line, cause I will not be going back!
I like the food. It’s a pleasant change from most cookie cutter fast food places. Granted the portions aren’t huge but for the price ($ for an entree and two sides) it’s more than fair. I’m north of 250lbs and it’s plenty to fill me up. My only gripe is the parking lot attendants. Who seriously thinks a fast food joint needs someone to point out parking spaces?
Meh. This place serves exactly what it is billed to, hamburgers off the grill. They tend to be quite a bit smaller than their buns. For my visit, I had one of their combo plates with two sides and a drink. The burger came as ordered and was not very large at all. For my sides, I ordered two portions of onion rings. Upon opening the box, I discovered there to be seven small onion rings. The burger was good, but I make better at home and you can, too. Skip this place and its horrid parking lot.
