Kentucky Coffeetree Cafe is exactly what it sounds like, a coffeehouse and a cafe. Illuminated like a dive bar and softly playing worse music than you would find at one, the staff buzzed around the room slinging lattes and sandwiches to customers quietly discussing their retirement checks and hatred of Governor Bevin and President Trump. I ordered a roast beef sandwich, which was delicious. The beer selection (which I thought was an odd thing to find in a coffeehouse) was short but of good quality. No mass produced swill served here, only locally produced brews and higher quality imports and domestics. The staff was friendly and probably over-caffeinated. While I enjoyed my lunch, if I return I will grab something to-go as the atmosphere is not really of my liking.

Then they forget my new order, when reminded, get huffy and slam the food down on the table. Fool me once… Shame on them..fool me twice…Shame on me. Let them get money from other suckers.
