Pineapple Fajitas. One of the best fajitas I have EVER had. Very tasty. Salsa is so-so but the fajitas made up for it. I will be back for more of those yummy fajitas!
Typical mexican joint, nice atmosphere.
Decent. Salsa is too tomato-tasting. Chips are served cold. Quesadillas are pretty tasty, though. Service is hit or miss but mainly fairly helpful and accommodating. Not my favorite, but not bad.
The only thing good is the decor. Salsa tasted like ketchup. Chips were stale. The enchilada sauce was bitter and metallic tasting. I had to scrape it off so I could try and salvage some of my meal. The only positive is it has the best decor of all of Frankfort’s Mexican restaurants. But you can’t eat the decor, so I won’t be back.
Not so great. The first impression with a mexican place is always the chips and dip. Chips were obviously reheated from a bag, and the dip tasted more like marinara with some wilted cilantro–no heat at all. Even with the addition of some habanero sauce, it still wasn’t very tasty. The margarita rocks was NOT made with lime juice. Tasted more like sweet and sour mix with bottom shelf tequila thrown in–at least it wasn’t weak. I ordered carnitas with rice, black beans and a guacamole salad. The carnitas were dry and underseasoned. Instead of black beans, I was given refried (which were not awesome). The guac salad was iceberg lettuce, chopped tomato, and a scoop of really generic guacamole on top. Overall, not a place I would return to without a pistol in the small of my back.
Great!. This place is great! The prices are more expensive then typical mexican restaurants but it’s my go to in Frankfort. We tried Casa Fiesta and although cheaper, it wasn’t as good. Try the fish tacos!
Good service. Fish tacos and guacomole were excellent. Chicken chimichangas were ok.
