No one likes a thief!. With the wonderful and fairly priced food; the clean and friendly atmosphere & service; a decent bar and drink specials. My Guadalajara was becoming one of my familys favorite spots in Frankfort after a couple of visits to the restaurant. The only negative we found (and it is a DEAL BREAKER) is that after a meal that was under $30 we left an $8 cash tip on the table (over 25%) my wife paid for our meal on her debit card and –0– the tip area on the receipt. A day or two later she checked her account to find that they had changed and added a tip to the debit card. WE ARE REALLY DISAPPOINTED THAT THEY WOULD FLAT OUT STEAL LIKE THAT. Goodbye My Guadalajara!
Great restaurant but a little pricey for Mexican food with their recent price increase.
I like real Mexican food and love rio’s is always very fresh and good taste I take my family there 2 times a week
Authentic, good quality, moderate prices, great service.
Prices Up and Down. The food is average. The prices go up and down and they don’t tell you until the bill arrives. I have been coming to Rio Grande for over a year with my husband. They didn’t even have the courtesy to let us know before ordering. The menu was not updated, no sign telling about the price increase.
Worth a try for lunch, dinner or Happy Hour. El Rio Grande has a number of features worthy of recommendation: first, very good food, then add a nice clean bright atmosphere, great drink specials, and a little patio. The only negatives we found were: one, rather slow (but friendly) service, and two, they need more shade umbrellas on the patio as most tables were in full sun when we were there on a hot afternoon.
