Service not good. Took an hour to get sandwich and salad. Salad arrived with no dressing, and no silverware. Never got dressing although we asked harassed waiter. Overwhelmed servers, who need more training. Lovely setting, good food. Hope they can up their game.

First impression not great…. Interesting menu, nice atmosphere, food was good. But fair warning – the italian panini is the tiniest sandwich I have ever seen!! Like something off a kids menu! Definitely not comparable at all to the other sandwiches I saw being delivered to tables around me. $10 was too much for a couple of bites of sandwich plus chips, I don’t know that I’ll be visiting again…

Slow and not so steady. I used to love this place. Today we went and service was extremely slow taking over 45 minutes to get soup, salad and sandwiches. Waitress brought plastic to go refills 15 minutes into wait which was strange, bringing our hopes up for speedy delivery. No refills after. Tomato soup used to be to die for, now it was just a bowl of pureed stewed tomatoes with a little onion and celery; served with packaged saltines. Monte Cristo was served with a very small bit of canned cranberry sauce, not even the chunky style. Additionally it was very hard, no longer resembling the tasty homemade bread which made this place worth the price previously.Topped with a long wait for checkout while the various staff members ignored the line of 10 people waiting to pay. At least the cashier had time to sip a soda and have a discussion with another member of the staff.Likely my last trip.

Downhill. The Sage use to be great for lunch.Went there last week and was disappointed. It seems the microwave is the new chef. Never again.

We recently had our rehearsal dinner and wedding at Wilson Nurseries catered by Sage Garden Cafe. The staff was excellent and the food was amazing, it exceeded all of our expectations! I would highly recommend Sage Cafe for your next event, you will be glad that you did.

It’s nice when a highly recommended restaurant…. Turns out to be HIGHLY GOOD!Quick rundown.Hot Brown panini was a successful transition of a classic hot brown into a sandwich you can hold.Cheese Pleaser. Pimento cheese with added Ham – Grilled Goodness! Kentucky Carbonara Pasta. Oh my gosh! As close to real Carbonara as I have had in a long time! Mary Cat’s Monte Cristo – ham and mozzarella on grilled sourdough with cranberry dipping sauce. The only down was the Butternut Squash Soup and it lacked flavor. Needed some spice.Very much worth the visit — and I drove from Lexington!

Never let down. After dining here several times I can truthfully say the food is real and is cared about. Sometimes a wait, but worth it.
