Mediocre at best. Had to get my own silverware and napkins. The food came out not as ordered, cold, and the bread was stale. Never asked how our food was. They made handicapped people walk all the way to the back, past many open tables. Not our first time to be disappointed here, but will probably be the last time.
Have been back recently and it has improved. Of course about the only salad bar left other than a Frischs. Some new decent items on the menu. Like their ribs though not smoked.
Good service, terrible food. The service was good but we could tell everything had been frozen and was covered in salt and poorly cooked. Will not be returning.
No Gem in Georgetown. Perhaps the worst meal I have encountered while traveling the highways and byways belongs to this Ruby Tuesday location in Georgetown KY. My partner ordered a marinated chicken and shrimp dish for 14.99 that included 4 skewered cocktail shrimp, and a half a chicken breast. Both were dry with a pervasive burnt taste. The veggie accompanying the dish consisted of two soggy slices of squash, on a half tablespoon of rice. My meal consisted of a trip to the 10 dollar salad bar. Here I was treated to semi frozen macaroni salad, wet lettuce, and totally frozen cucumbers. The server remained unconcerned with my complaints, and failed to offer either a comp or redo. It is no wonder that the Cincinnati Bengals abandoned their training camp in Georgetown if the quality of food elsewhere in town is exemplified by this place.
I ordered the premium burger, cooked medium, with fries. It arrived well done, and unseasoned. I would not order this burger again, even if it had been properly cooked. There are burgers at other chain restaurants that are a better value,in terms of taste and price.
Decent food, poor service. Always slow to get your meal here. Servers piled dirty dishes on the table next to us instead of taking them to the kitchen. Told us no one had made biscuits so we couldn’t have any. And then cleaned tables all around us (FINALLY) while we were all visibly finished and needed boxes. Are they not required to offer to box for us like they were when I last checked? Why do so few servers think they should provide good service?
Bad service, bad food, bad experience.. Last night my family and I dined at the Georgetown Ruby’s. Both the service and food were far from good. Two of us ordered medium steaks that arrived overcooked and dried out. We also both ordered baked potatoes. We were not served sour cream or butter with them, and after we had to ask the waitress to bring them, we got one small container of each to share. We also had to ask for biscuits. The spinach artichoke dip we ordered was never served at all, as was the case with one of our drinks. If this is the standard of food and service I am very surprised that this location is still in operation. I will never return with my family and urge others to try one of our other restaurants in town and stay away from Ruby’s.
