Not the best Japanese steak house ever. The service was good, but the food was only mediocre. Steak and shrimp over cooked. Worst of all the ladies room was filthy (never a good sign).

Never Disappointed. We have NEVER been disappointed going here. The wait staff is super friendly, and the food is delicious. We’ve been all over the menu from the hibachi to the sushi. We’re very glad they are located so close to our house. Their salad dressing is fantastic! They will even sell it to go so you can have some at home. We generally order 7-8 rolls, 2 – 3 sushi items, and a few salads and hibachi menu items. They serve their lunch menu on Saturday’s too if you wanted to save some $$. Their to-go items are just as tasty as if you ate in the resteraunt. If you haven’t been yet, give them a try!

Great food, I’ve been eating here for a few years now and have never been disappointed. Don’t listen to all the bad reviews, the food is great

It’s good. Wish it could be more authentic.

Typical Georgetown mediocrity. Not good Japanese food. Do not waste your $17. Drive to lex if u want Habachi grill.

Excellent Sushi – Very Good Hibachi. The best/freshest sushi I have personally ever had. My dad lives in the area and stated it was the best sushi around as well. Try the wildcat and the volcano. In regards to the hibachi, the show was good but not so over the top as to be annoying (plus it was clean humor – no rudeness or crudeness). The food was very good and the sushi sent the experience over the top.

BAD Experience. After experiencing hands down the worst dining experience of my life at Sapporo Saturday night I am beyond baffled by the number of positive reviews. Within only a few minutes after we walked through the door I had a sense of foreboding that this was going to be far less than a stellar experience. After waiting over 15 minutes at the door (it was not crowded nor was there a line of people waiting) a member of our party approached an employee regarding a table whereupon he was advised it would only be a few minutes. Fifteen minutes later, after watching several parties who had arrived after us being seated, we again approached an employee and politely inquired regarding when we could expect to be seated. To say that the response to this inquiry was less than professionally courteous would be an understatement. Despite this we soldiered on thinking that this was merely an aberration given the positive reviews we had heard about this restaurant — huge mistake. The service was beyond slow and the food was the worst weve ever had. To top off a disastrous meal, one member of our party ordered scallops and when she finally received them (they were forgotten and we had to ask for them) the scallops were clearly rancid and thus inedible. When we politely pointed this out to the server in the hope that they would simply not serve the bad seafood to another patron, we were approached by a female employee who began to loudly state that the scallops were indeed fine (she was carrying a plate with two raw scallops on it which I suppose she thought serve as proof and she kept pushing this plate at us literally). Even though we tried to assure her that we were merely trying to advise them of a problem and that we had not requested an adjustment to our bill she would not back off and continued to loudly berate us for daring to question the food. We finally received our check, after being forced to request it three times, and were able to pay and leave. As we were leaving another patron advised us that her food was also horrible (the seafood inedible and the steak too tough to chew). While it is certainly understandable that any restaurant could have an off night, this is one restaurant that none of us will ever go to again bad atmosphere, bad service, bad attitudes and, most importantly, inedible food.
