New favorite Mexican restaurant in town. The food always tastes fresh.
Awesome Mexican! This place is a little more upscale than the other Mexican joints in town! The food is cheaper yet better than El Bracero! Their ingredients are fresh, and not over seasoned! The service was great also! I tried the chorizo and eggs and it was scrumptious and my mom got the enchiladas supremas which she also thought was better than the comparable places…really recommend this little jewel!
Fish Tacos. A friend and I ate here for lunch recently. Located in the former Dot’s restaurant building, Senior Lopez has a roomy atmosphere and lots of parking. The owner, who really is a Mr. Lopez, used to manage El Bracero, so it’s not surprising that the menu looks pretty similar to Hopkinsville’s most popular Mexican venue. I ordered three fish tacos off the ala carte section… instead of little bits of fried fish like Bracero’s, these tacos were stuffed with perfectly cooked generous portions of tilapia. Instead of being overly salted, it was subtly seasoned so that the natural sweetness of the fish could shine through. I’m a fan!My friend ordered their supreme guacamole, which was a chunky style avocado and pico de gallo mix. That was really yummy too.

It is a new and very tasty resturant. Many menu favorites are cheaper then fast food. The service is very quick. I would recommend it!
